2015 Pumpkin Harvest

Established in 2012

Nicholas Paul’s Pirate Pumpkin Patch spans 2.5 acres, and our team of volunteers and tireless works dedicates an entire weekend early in October to harvesting pumpkins, squash, and gourds to be hand washed and prepared for the Autumn Festival. We plant early in June and begin weeding in July. It’s hard work, but so rewarding to pay homage to our pumpkin lover, Nicholas.

The freewill donation of our harvested goods has been a big blessing for H.E.R.O each fall, and people eagerly anticipate harvest and volunteering.
