2014 Birthday Bags for Beans

Our annual beanbag contest is held each spring, as close to April 6th as possible – Nicholas’s birthday. It’s an event where we’re able to gather and celebrate Nicholas’s birthday party featuring homemade red velvet cupcakes, and a birthday toy drive. These new, unwrapped toys are then delivered to the pediatric floor at the St. Cloud Hospital.

The beanbag tournament features up to 64 teams who battle it out to be crowned champion. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three teams in the double-elimination pool; $250 for first, $150 for second, and $100 for third. The Nicholas P. Koenig H.E.R.O. Foundation also gives away prizes during competition, as well as hosts a small raffle.
